SHOOTING

This shot is also from my Chaung Tha trip. I still remember that day. I woke up 6AM in the morning while other people were still admist their sound sleep. I was lost and didn’t know what to do. Sigh… I slept with my cousin who sleeps like a pig. Finally I decided to have my breakfast. I saw couples of teashops along the shore. Yes, I walked there. And I tried tea and some local snacks. Quite delicious and cheap!! Then I took out my camera to have some MORNING SHOTS. But then, I saw this man who makes tea and coffee. In local terminology, we call such man a TEA MASTER. Yes, he kept himself busy with blending. I saw a big hole on roof of the teashop. So the morning sunbeams became an array of a smooth spectrum behind the tea master. Bravo!! That’s the perfect moment and I had my button released. In fact, I have been eager to have such AGAINST LIGHT SHOT with a lively SUBJECT/OBJECT in front. This shot make my dream come true.

Very Brilliant. But you had better catch the things especially to tea jars and cups rather than putting him in the scene alone even though you mention him as “Tea Master”. But article is perfect.

@ Nainglinkoko >> Thanks a lot for your comment, bro…

@ MYO HAN HTUN >> Thanks for your opinion, bro… You’re right, bro. The title would be more perfect if I could grab some tea cups in the frame. Next time, bro…

hey
he really looks like late actor Deway. (Thar Nyi’s brother). ha ha ha ha ha. remember that they are the real masters of tea because in Thailand there is no one like him, if you want to order tea then just tea, not like too sweet, small amount of milk , with bitter. in Thailand Tea mean Tea that is all. ohh i miss my country and one of our symbols “TEA SHOPS” . a place where we can sit drink Tea/ coffee and chat with friends, even in US, so called Number 1 of the world could not provide you the service like that. Tea Shop and Tea of Burmese style

” I was lost and didn’t know what to do. Sigh… I slept with my cousin..” … hey, hey.. didn’t know this is that kind of blog.. lol…
I kinda agree with one of the earlier posters.. the picture would be better if we could see more of his arsenal of tea making stuff…
To another poster, there are a whole lot of variety of tea in Thailand. You just have to know how to order it.. and where it is available. :)

nice one!!! i like the way the light coming from the corner… i’m not so sure with ur point of the shot… but according to my view & feeling, the way that guy wearing a hat & the light composition give me the taste of being at the tea-shop on winter mornings… & yeh that fried rice dish not only reinforces the taste of pic but also makes me drool… LOL… ;P
