The unbounded SKY above us sometimes is one of the biggest miracles. I seldom try shots of the sky with different angles on my lens. Resulted are amazing every now and then.

It was on Sep 7th 2008 at Guang Yin Buddhist temple. I was there for family donation. I was trying to capture the traditional Chinese roofing of the temple and saw the blue sky above. This is just so LOVELY with the clouds…

Time flies so fast and it comes to the end of DECEMBER, end of a year. It’s time to welcome the bountiful dawn of 2009. I was in a little paradise, Chaung Tha beach, for 2 nights, went there with office. This is my second trip to the scenic Chaung Tha. My very first trip was back in FEB 2008.

So during this trip, I have been thinking to have something special for the NEW YEAR here on my page. It was DEC 30th, I was standing on the bank of Chaung Tha, feeling the breeze, holding my camera and hunting for some objects to capture. Saw this wonderful SUNSET and decided to create as 2008 SUNSET.

Friends, let’s say goodbye to 2008 with this sunset and welcome 2009 with a vigorous mindset. May this 2009 brings fresh and tiding prosperity and blissful happiness to you and your family. I will endeavor to stock better expression photos throughout 2009 and yes I do look forward to your regular visits and sincere comments.

SHOOTING & DEDICATION

This is another dedication post for December, the month I find adorable. December to me is a symbol of peace, love, care, festive, celebration, joy, re-union, merit makings and the likes. I did upload a December post called A Hazy December Morning. However this is not a continuation of Hazy December but just complimentary shots for the previous post.

I have created these shots from Eastern Approach of SHWEDAGON pagoda. In fact, I was there to arrest the SUNRISE. Time was around 5:45 in the morning. When the sun mounted up, the surrounding areas of KANDAWGYI national park is under heavy fog. Trust me! It makes the best December morning of 2009. I have dig up hundreds of photos with different exposures. The shots I have seized with Aperture Priority mode are the best among.

So along with this post, let me prove how much I am devoted to my favorite month of December.

Welcome to December, my favorite month out of all. It’s been my fantasy to have some dedicated posts for December here on my webpage. The place where I can arrest the foggy morning that I love. I adore scenes along STRAND ROAD. That’s where I always speak to myself, pray for the future and execute my stress. I have earned hundreds of shots around STRAND ROAD. Sitting on jetties with my camera is a big coziness for me. However, I feel bored of taking pictures from the same old jetties. I have been craving to have some shots towards the jetties of course from Yangon River.

I did compose my dream on 4th December. I happened to travel along the Yangon River on a small ferry with one of my high-school friends. He was on vacation back from the States. He is also a photographic-maniac. So we went there to create a DECEMBER MORNING. This shot truly made me smile. This is YANGON PORT from Yangon River. I took this shot around SUNRISE. The foggy background and the ocean liners docking along the port are classically delectable in my sense.

May this DECEMBER bring you happiness and good cheers, my friends.

Shooting

I have been in a bad mood these days for some mishaps. Life turns out to be sour whenever I expect positive turnaround. And yes, that’s called YE LWIN OO. Of course, I tried couples of ways to free my soul. The thing is that I want some time on my own. I desirably want to run away from these RESPONSIBILITIES. No more compromises, please!! And let me have sound sleep!!

It’s a misty Dec morning. 4th DEC (Thurs), I set my alarm 5:00 in the morning. I took my camera and went to MAW TIN wharf. Hired a small DAH LA ferry and traveled along YANGON RIVER to shoot seagulls. Philosophically, I want to be like these seagulls. I would love to glide in the wind. Free from everything and flying without any limitation. So, let me FREE MY SOUL with this post.

Gift Of The Seagull by Munda

A lonely seagull flies the winds
Majestic… soaring…gliding wings
A single screech sounds from the sky
Come fly with me… come here and fly

My spirit floats to be a part
I feel the beating of its heart
My soul, one with this bird of sea
Now knows the meaning to fly free

I feel the winds caress my soul
And soar the streams without a goal
My being trembles of delight
A treasure I received tonight

The seagull’s flight of soaring high
The gift of what it means to fly

When you have a chance to travel PHYAR PONE township of IRRAWADDY division, you will see these handmade clay pots parking in front of almost every household. People from that area keep rain water in these pots to utilize as drinking water for year round. Due to high level contamination of SALT, water from traditional wells in PHYAR PONE area cannot reach drinkable quality. Means these clay pots are so universal in IRRAWADDY delta. Some households keep tens of these giant pots to reserve enough fresh water solely for drinking.

It was 6th September 2008. I woke up so early because of a phone call from one of my friends and I couldn’t try to snooze anymore. So, I decided to sense some fresh breeze of September morning from balcony. Found this bird coincidentally while he was trying to enter his morning. He seems too peaceful swinging on a wire, right in front of my house. By some means, his movements attracted me to hit my camera. I found irresistible to the songs he sing and the movement he incur. So, ended up with this shot. An unexpected morning becomes a memorable record for my life. Believe me or not, I would love to wake up so early like this again. At least to hear his rhythmic melodies…
